The Perfect Carbonara with Simone & Viviana

Join My Kitchen Rules 2024 champions Simone and Viviana as they take you inside one of Italy’s most beloved – and most debated – pasta dishes. Born from the kitchens of Rome, carbonara is deceptively simple, deeply satisfying, and endlessly misunderstood. In this hands-on session, Simone and Viviana cut through the myths and walk you through the real thing: silky, rich, and made the way it was meant to be.

Drawing on their Italian roots and the infectious charisma that made them fan favourites on national television, this duo will guide you through every step, from technique to texture, so you can recreate a flawless carbonara at home, every time.

Ready to level up your dumpling game? Brendan Pang is bringing his signature wonton-making skills to the Cooking School, showing you how to fold, flavour and build a red curry broth that hits every note.

In this hands-on session, you will learn how to make and shape juicy chicken wontons from scratch, guided by Brendan’s signature technique inspired by years spent cooking alongside his Grandmère. You’ll also make a fragrant Thai-style red curry broth that is creamy, lightly spiced and layered with aromatics.

This is one of those dishes that looks seriously impressive but is totally doable at home. Brendan will share his go-to tips, clever shortcuts and flavour tricks that make all the difference.
