Good Food & Wine Show × Novotel Brisbane South Bank Competition

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Good Food & Wine Show × Novotel Brisbane South Bank Competition (“Competition”). By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Promoter

The Competition is conducted by Spectapular Enterprises Pty Ltd (ABN 51 151 821 966) (“Promoter”), trading as the Good Food & Wine Show, in partnership with Novotel Brisbane South Bank (“Partner”).

2. Eligibility

The Competition is open to Queensland residents aged 18 years or over only.

Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Promoter, the Partner, and any agencies associated with the administration of this Competition are not eligible to enter.

By entering the Competition, entrants warrant that they satisfy all eligibility requirements.

3. Competition Period

The Competition opens at 12:01 am AEST on Thursday, 6 August 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm AEST on Thursday, 20 August 2026 (“Competition Period”).

Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be accepted.

4. How to Enter

To enter the Competition, entrants must, during the Competition Period:

  • Complete the online entry form available on the designated competition landing page on the Good Food & Wine Show website.
  • Provide their first name, last name, email address, phone number, and preferred consolation prize day.
  • Accept these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy by ticking the relevant consent checkbox.

Entry is free.

Only one (1) entry per person is permitted.

Automated, bulk, third-party, duplicate, or fraudulent entries are not permitted. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who submits multiple entries, uses false identities, or otherwise gains an unfair advantage.

5. Prize Details

Major Prize

One (1) major prize will be awarded, consisting of:

  • A two (2) night stay at Novotel Brisbane South Bank, including breakfast.
  • Two (2) General Admission Tickets for the Good Food & Wine Show Brisbane on Saturday, 24 October 2026.
  • Two (2) Cheese Lover Masterclass tickets on Saturday, 24 October 2026.
  • Two (2) Sunday VIP Tickets, including VIP Lounge access, for Sunday, 25 October 2026.

The total value of the major prize is AUD $1,481.85.

Consolation Prizes

One hundred (100) consolation prizes are available.

Each consolation prize consists of:

  • One (1) Double General Admission Ticket valid for either:
    • Friday, 23 October 2026; or
    • Sunday, 25 October 2026,

based on the entrant’s preferred day selection and subject to ticket availability.

The total value of each consolation prize is AUD $99.90.

The total prize pool is AUD $11,471.85.

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, refundable, redeemable for cash, or available for resale.

If any prize or prize component becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded.

6. Winner Selection

The major prize winner and one hundred (100) consolation prize winners will be selected by a random electronic draw from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period.

The draw will take place on Friday, 21 August 2026.

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Winner Notification

Winners will be notified by email and/or phone using the contact details provided in their entry within two (2) business days of the draw.

The Promoter will provide winners with instructions on how to redeem or receive their prize. Tickets, accommodation details, and other prize information will be provided electronically unless otherwise advised.

If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim their prize within seven (7) days of notification, the prize will be forfeited and a redraw will be conducted.

8. Privacy

By entering the Competition, entrants consent to the collection, storage, use, and disclosure of their personal information by the Promoter and the Partner for the purpose of administering the Competition and, where consent has been provided, sending future marketing communications.

Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles, and the Promoter’s and Partner’s respective Privacy Policies.

9. General Conditions

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, corrupted, illegible, or misdirected entries.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the identity, age, and Queensland residency of any entrant or winner and may request suitable proof of identity, age, and residency before awarding a prize. Failure to provide satisfactory verification may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternative winner.

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, amend, or terminate the Competition where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Should this occur, the Promoter may conduct the draw using all eligible entries received prior to cancellation.

The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunction, network failure, or other event beyond its reasonable control that may affect entry into the Competition.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter, the Partner, and their respective officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense suffered or incurred by an entrant arising directly or indirectly from entering the Competition or accepting or using a prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform on which it may be promoted. By entering the Competition, entrants release those platforms from any liability arising from or in connection with the Competition.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland in relation to any dispute arising from the Competition.
