Pam Buchanan is a Sydney-based baker and the winner of The Great Australian Bake Off 2026. Originally from Venezuela, Pam brings her love of South American flavours and traditions into her baking, while embracing a wonderfully diverse approach to the kitchen.
Pam is the founder of Bake + Sway, where she develops recipes and shares her love of baking and the happiness it brings her. An all-rounder in the kitchen, Pam loves creating everything from beautiful cakes and intricate desserts to pastries, breads and savoury bakes, always with a focus on delicious flavours and joyful, approachable baking.
Pam’s goal is to inspire others to put on their aprons, get into the kitchen and bake along with her. Known for bringing plenty of joy, energy and a little dancing to her baking, she believes that baking is about so much more than the finished creation. It is about creativity, connection, sharing food with the people you love and building a community around the simple happiness of baking.
