What are the show opening hours?

The Sydney event is open:

Friday 17th September
Morning Session: 9:30AM – 2:00PM
Afternoon Session: 3:00PM – 8:00PM

Saturday 18th September
Morning Session: 9:30AM – 2:00PM
Afternoon Session: 3:00PM – 7:00PM

Sunday 19th September
All Day Session: 10:00AM – 5:00PM

How do I get to the venue?

What food and drinks are served in the VIP lounge?

All the details of what will be included in the lounge will be on the VIP Lounge and VIP tickets page closer to the show.

Do I need to purchase a tasting glass?

Not all exhibitors will have sample cups available for you to utilise when tasting; we recommend purchasing a tasting glass at the merchandise stands on arrival or with the purchase of your ticket online if you would like to sample beverages.

Where can I find a particular product or exhibitor at the Show?

Check back closer to the show to find the full exhibitor list.

Is there a cloak room?

There are no cloak room facilities in the show unless you are a VIP ticket holder. VIP ticket holders have a cloak room within the VIP lounge.

Will I be able to drop my shopping off at the car and then come back to the show?

Yes – grab a stamp as a pass-out and will be able to re-enter the event during the session.


Where can I purchase tickets to the Good Food & Wine Show?

Can I buy tickets at the door?

This year all tickets will need to be purchased online.  Click here for prices. We recommend purchasing masterclass, VIP Lounge and additional show experiences prior to arrival as these regularly sell out.

Can the tickets be scanned at the door from my phone?

Yes; please have the email with the tickets open on your phone ready for scanning at the door.

I can’t find the tickets I purchased in my inbox, can you resend?

If you contact you can request your ticket to be re-sent to the email on your original ticket order. You can also ask the ticketing team at the show to find your ticket via your email address.

My ticket says it is unregistered, what does this mean?

An unregistered ticket means that there is no name or contact details attached to that ticket. You will still be allowed entry into the show, however you won’t be able enter the competitions around the show, or sign up to mailing lists with exhibitors by scanning your ticket – as there won’t be any details against your ticket.

I have purchased my entry ticket, how can I purchase additional masterclasses?

You can add additional masterclasses to your show ticket by heading to this page. 

I’ve purchased a masterclass, do I need to purchase an entry ticket if I am only attending the class?

The masterclasses and show experiences only available to visitors who have purchased a General Admission or VIP ticket. You must have purchased entry to the Show to access these experiences.

Where can I pick up my pre-paid glass or merchandise?

There will be merchandise points within the show and on the concourse before entering the show. Have your merchandise ticket ready to scan, and you will be able to pick up your item.

How do I book a ticket to the Harris Scarfe Kitchen?

The Kitchen seats are on a first come, first served basis and entry is free. Timetables for the Kitchen are available on the Kitchen by Harris Scarfe page.

Are children free?

Children 6 and under are free, and children 7 to 17 (inclusive) are required to purchase a ticket. Please note that all children under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times during the show.

Can I bring my children to the show?

Children are allowed at the show, however anyone under the age of 18 will need to be under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times. There are also areas of the show which are over 18 only, this includes certain masterclasses.

Can my child come into the masterclass with me?

Most masterclasses with alcohol present are over 18 only, you will not be allowed to bring your child into these areas.

Can I swap my tickets for another day?

Please contact if you want to swap your tickets for another day. There may be charges if the day you are swapping to is priced higher than the day you purchased, and VIP tickets may not be able to be swapped if the day is sold out.

Can I swap names on my ticket/give my ticket to someone else?

Tickets are transferable. It is not mandatory to change the name on the ticket if you wish to pass it onto a family member or friend, however we recommend you re-register your ticket to ensure you are able to enter competitions at the show with your ticket.  Contact Lup our ticketing agency at, to change the name on your ticket.

Are companion cards accepted?

Yes, we accept companion cards. Please present them to the ticketing box before entering the show to receive your complimentary ticket.

I’m in the hospitality industry. Do I receive free tickets?

The Good Food & Wine Show is a consumer, ticketed event; there are no free tickets for industry staff.
