This site is part of the network of websites created and operated by Spectapular Enterprises Pty Ltd, trading as Good Food & Wine Show (GFWS), which are collectively referred to herein as the “Sites.” These Terms of Use set forth the terms and conditions under which you may enter and use the Sites and any services available on the Sites.
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY. By entering or using any of the Sites, registering with any of the Sites, and/or clicking “I Agree,” you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use (without modification), you are not authorized to enter or use the Sites.
PLEASE NOTE: Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms of Use or on the Sites to the contrary, the Sites are provided without any warranty and subject to limitations on our liability. These terms are contained in Sections 12 and 13 below.
GFWS reserves the right, at its discretion, to revise these Terms of Use at any time without notice. When we do, we may also revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms. You are responsible for regularly reviewing the current Terms of Use. The most current version can be reviewed by clicking the “Terms of Use” link at the bottom of our web pages. Additional terms may be added from time to time. Your continued use of the Sites after any revisions constitutes your agreement to the updated terms.
1. Use of the Sites
GFWS grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to use the Sites to:
View content and obtain information about GFWS events
Subscribe to GFWS publications
Register for trade or consumer shows, conferences, and events
Post messages to bulletin boards, chat groups, or forums available on the Sites
Use the Sites for other purposes expressly permitted by GFWS
You may print or copy portions of the content for personal business use, provided you do not remove any trademark, copyright, or other notice. “Personal business use” excludes:
Producing, displaying, or distributing multiple/bulk copies of any content
Compiling portions of content into any product for sale, license, or other exchange for value
You may also reproduce up to 40 words or 250 characters (including spaces) of content, provided that:
You identify GFWS as the source
If used online, you include a hyperlink to the source
Restrictions:
No copying, reproducing, modifying, distributing, selling, publishing, or publicly displaying content without prior written permission
No interference with the display or delivery of advertisements
No use of GFWS trademarks as metatags, illegal use of the Sites, or framing content without permission
No submission of malicious software
No decompiling, reverse engineering, or excessive data extraction
Note: Search engines may engage in customary site indexing and caching. Requests for use beyond these permissions should be directed to [email protected].
2. Content
All information, services, and software on the Sites—including advertising, directories, guides, articles, images, audio/video clips, HTML, and data (collectively “Content”)—are owned by or licensed to GFWS or third-party providers and are protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
3. Submissions & User-Created Content
The Sites may have bulletin boards, forums, or other interactive areas for users to post content. GFWS does not monitor all content, and any opinions expressed by third parties are their own.
GFWS may edit or remove any content deemed abusive, unlawful, or otherwise unacceptable. By submitting content, you grant GFWS and its affiliates a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, modify, distribute, and display your content, including your name and other information provided.
4. Content Limitations
You agree to provide accurate and truthful information and not to post content that:
Contains offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful material
Infringes on the rights of GFWS or third parties
Interferes with the use of the Sites by others
Transmits viruses or harmful files
Violates these Terms of Use
All content posted is not confidential. Users should exercise caution when sharing personal information. Violations may be reported to law enforcement.
5. Use of Registration Data
Certain areas may require registration. Providing information may be necessary to access certain services. The use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
6. Username & Password
Accounts may be issued with a username and password. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality and for all activity under your account. Notify GFWS immediately of any unauthorized use.
7. Links
The Sites may contain links to third-party websites. GFWS is not responsible for third-party content, services, or policies. Linking to the Sites is permitted only to the homepage or subpages, unless revoked by GFWS.
8. Fees and Payments
GFWS may charge fees for certain services. Fees will not be charged without prior agreement. Users are responsible for all applicable fees and taxes.
9. International Users
Sites are operated from Australia. Accessing the Sites from areas where it is illegal is prohibited. Users are responsible for compliance with applicable laws.
10. Advertisers
Advertisers on the Sites confirm they are registered businesses.
11. Indemnity / Limitations of Liability
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GFWS and its affiliates from any claims arising from:
Your use of the Sites
Your content
Violations of these Terms
GFWS reserves the right to assume defense of any claims at its expense.
12. Disclaimer
The Sites, Content, and Services are provided “as is,” “with all faults,” and “as available”. No warranties are made regarding availability, accuracy, or security. Content accessed or downloaded is at your risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
GFWS and affiliates are not liable for any damages, including indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, arising from your use of the Sites. Some jurisdictions may not allow certain disclaimers.
14. Termination / Modifications
GFWS may terminate, suspend, or modify your access to the Sites at any time without notice, particularly if:
You breach these Terms
You infringe intellectual property rights
You engage in illegal or abusive activity
Termination does not affect provisions meant to survive beyond termination.
15. Miscellaneous
These Terms constitute the entire agreement with GFWS.
Rights and obligations cannot be transferred without written consent.
Any waiver by GFWS does not constitute a permanent waiver.
Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes must be brought there.
