Good Food & Wine Show, 25 – 27 October, BCEC Brisbane

We can’t whey-t to welcome you to the Good Food & Wine Show at the BCEC Brisbane this weekend.

Get excited – here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your Cheese Lover ticket and have a brie-lliant day at the Show. 

Once you are inside the venue, make your first stop the merchandise stand to collect all your cheese-loving goodies.

Your cheese-loving goodies include:

  • A GFWS tasting glass so you can taste the perfect wine to pair with your new favourite cheese.
  • A GFWS tote bag – perfect for carrying around everything you buy at the show.
  • Exclusive Cheese Guide – you’ve made cheese your priority, so we have created an exclusive guide to all the cheesy treasure at the Show. It also outlines all the special offers our cheese producers have just for you.
  • Your Cheese Lover lanyard & wristband. Your lanyard will identify you as a Cheese Lover to our cheese exhibitors, so they know to share their exclusive Cheese Lover offers with you. You need your wristband to attend your Cheese Masterclass presented by Smelly Cheese Co.

Cheese Lover tickets include an exclusive Cheese Masterclass presented by Smelly Cheese Co. and led by cheese expert, Valerie Henbest.

Prepare for an inspiring round-the-world trip while savouring cheeses from four different countries and hearing the fascinating stories behind every cheese presented. Paired with perfectly curated Australian wines, you will appreciate first-hand what ‘terroir’ means and how it affects everything that grows where it grows.

We have three masterclasses scheduled each day at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

Please check your ticket to make sure you know which class you are booked in to. All classes are SOLD OUT so you must attend the session you are booked in for.

Where to find the room

Your exclusive Smelly Cheese masterclass will take place in Hospitality Lounge 4. The room where your masterclass is held can be a little tricky to find and we don’t want you to miss this experience, so we have put together a guide to help you find the room.

To make your way to Hospitality Lounge 4 please find your way to the main entry to the show at the merchandise area and head straight to the far-left corner of the hall, near “Cheese Corner”. Between Cheese Corner and the food truck area, you’ll find a set of stairs. There will be signage at the base of the stairs to indicate you’re at the correct spot and a Lup staff member will scan your tickets here. Then simply go up the stairs and turn left.

Please don’t be late to join the fun! Arrive for your Masterclass at least five minutes prior to your allocated start time.  We recommend setting your alarm for 15 minutes before your masterclass is due to start to give you plenty of time to find the room.
