Adamstown Pudding Kitchen

Adamstown Pudding Kitchen

The Adamstown Pudding Kitchen is a not-for-profit artisan Christmas Pudding manufacturer in Newcastle NSW, run by the Adamstown Uniting Church.
Our puddings are all handmade and steamed in the traditional Calico cloth and then hung in their cloth to dry.
In 2018 our Christmas puddings were voted best commercially made pudding in Australia by the SMH Good Food Guide.
Last year we celebrated 50 years of making Christmas puddings and giving over a million dollars to welfare projects in our community and overseas.
When people purchase a pudding from the Adamstown Pudding Kitchen, they enjoy a rich gourmet experience at the same time as providing funding for important community-based projects in Australia and around the world.
Our commitment to community and sustainability has seen us introduce:
• a new no waste program – members of the Newcastle community donate the surplus produce from their fruit and vegetable gardens to the Pudding Kitchen to make beautiful gourmet foods. In return we give those who donate a jar of pickles, preserves or jam.
• In 2022 we are going to phase in new recyclable vacuum seal bags for our puddings that are made out of 70% sugar cane and are carbon negative
