We place a strong emphasis on allowing our vineyard to express itself naturally while striving to achieve balance in the ecosystem. We work with what each different season presents us and provide the best environment for each vine to produce balanced fruit for our desired wine styles.
We produce the classic blend of Sauvignon Blanc & Semillon, Chardonnay, Cabernet Merlot and Shiraz as well as a fine Sparkling Chardonnay. Our latest additions are Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
UMAMU is rated a 5 red Star producer by Australia’s most respected wine critic, James Halliday and has been twice awarded Gold Medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards, with reviews from Julia Harding MW of Jancis Robinson and Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW of The Wine Advocate.
