Kirsten Tibballs, acclaimed by MasterChef Australia as ‘The Queen of Chocolate’, is one of Australia’s most celebrated and internationally respected pastry chefs and chocolatiers. As the sole global ambassador for Callebaut, Kirsten travels the world showcasing her craft, while in Australia she has created a signature dessert range for Bulla Family Dairy, now a permanent offering.
Kirsten’s accolades include being named Best in the World for handmade chocolates at the World Pastry Team Championships, winning medals at the Pastry Olympics in Germany, and serving as President of Jury for Taste at the World Chocolate Masters in Paris. She has also judged competitions in Japan and London, and launched new chocolate concepts to leading global food media.
A passionate educator, Kirsten founded Savour Chocolate & Patisserie School in Melbourne in 2002, expanding online in 2013 to teach students worldwide. She has authored three acclaimed books—Chocolate to Savour, Chocolate, and Chocolate All Day—and stars in the TV series The Chocolate Queen, which has aired in 89 countries. She also appears regularly on shows including MasterChef Australia, Dessert Masters, and live culinary events across Australia.
