Born and bred in the Upper Hunter Valley, Ash Horner has spent his life among vineyards, learning early that what you put in is what you get back.
A winemaker, wine lover, and proud “ratbag” at heart, Ash has built his craft through years of experience with some of Australia’s most recognised wineries, including Rosemount Estate, Penfolds, and Mount Pleasant. Today, alongside his wife and winemaking partner Lauren, he leads Horner Wines from their home in Pokolbin.
Their approach is refreshingly simple: small-batch wines made with care, character, and a deep respect for the fruit. No pretension, just honest wine crafted with skill and passion.
