Fine Vines Festival will bring together a selection of more than 30 unique events showcasing the quality and depth of the Margaret River region’s wine offering. For the aficionados and the occasional drinkers alike, Fine Vines invites you to explore all aspects of our wine region through tastings and tours, masterclasses, dining experiences and exclusive museum wines. If you’re lucky enough to be in WA in October this is a new festival showcasing the best of Margaret River – is not to be missed. With such a broad program we’ve pulled together a selection of from the program that we think would suit the wine and food lovers among you:

  • Chameleon by Vasse Felix Chameleon is an immersive six-course dining journey for the vino valiant, where finesse, funk and fetching frills will set the tone for an unmissable culinary quest. This is an intimate exploration of the world’s original grape chameleon, Chardonnay. For more info and tickets go here
  • Juniper at Lagoon Yallingup An epic five-course degustation dinner featuring one of the region’s founding wine producers together with one of Yallingup’s newest dining highlights. The evening offers an exclusive opportunity to discover rare, trophy-winning, back vintage wines from Juniper, seamlessly paired with contemporary and locally-sourced food from Lagoon.   • Spring Garden Party at Voyager Estate Experience Voyager beyond the dining room with a four-stop progressive food and wine tasting through the Estate’s famed Cape Dutch-style gardens. The new release of Project Pet Nat will combine with crowd favourites of sparkling Chenin Blanc and the winery’s acclaimed Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon styles, matched to head chef Santiago’s beautifully executed bites.  For more info and tickets go here
  • The Art of Fine Wine at Leeuwin Estate Discover the story behind Leeuwin Estate’s acclaimed Art Series Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz in a two-hour, winemaker-led masterclass set against the backdrop of the Leeuwin Art Gallery, followed by a 6-course tasting menu.   • Wanderlust with Wine with Rustico at Hayshed Hill A transformative tasting journey to fuel unrequited wanderlust, as Michael Kerrigan’s shares his knowledge on wine varietals from all over the world, grown in the South West. hese world class wines will be matched to canapes and a six-course meal by the award winning Rustico at Hay Shed Hill.   • Distilling the Wise Winery Essence Discover the many uses of Chardonnay grapes, with a tasting tour of sparkling, wine, gin and brandy at Wise Wines. Start with a tasting and distillery tour with the distillery team, featuring Wise Pisco, Wise Gin, but highlighting the new, yet to be released, Wise brandy, then sit down to an intimate lunch matched to premium Wise Wine and an opportunity to purchase brandy pre-release.   • Familiar Faces, Fresh Wines at Cape Lodge Join Corymbia, Plan B! Wines, Flowstone and Wines of Merritt at the elegant Cape Lodge Country House for a morning tasting, hosted by four fiercely independent small batch producers with over 120 years of combined industry experience.
