Brendan Pang is a cook, author, and content creator celebrating the vibrant flavours of his Chinese-Mauritian heritage. Growing up in Perth, he learned to make traditional dishes like wontons alongside his Grandmere, a practice that continues to inspire his cooking today.

Before turning to food full-time, Brendan worked as a social worker in Broome, an experience that shaped his approach to life and community. His culinary journey took off in 2018 on MasterChef Australia, leading him to found Bumplings, a popular Asian street food venture in Fremantle and through pop-up cooking classes.

Having spent time in Asia, particularly Taiwan, Brendan has deepened his expertise in street food and home cooking. Through cookbooks, classes, and social media, he shares approachable, family-inspired recipes that invite home cooks to explore bold, authentic flavours.
