XO Wine Co was started in 2017 by Greg Clack and Kate Horstmann focusing on small batch wines using multiple methods of fermentation to gain depth and complexity while preserving varietal and geographic integrity.

They are both strong advocates for Kuitpo (their home turf) and have narrowed their focus to producing climate appropriate wines, both viticulturally and consumption wise.

They work closely with multiple family owned vineyards focusing on wine quality and sustainability in the long term. Winemaking is done at their own small batch facility allowing them to not compromise on quality at any stage with certain methods such as time on skins, harvest dates and pressing schedules.
