Willow Bridge Estate
Published 30 May, 2024Willow Bridge Estate is a family-owned Vineyard and Winery that sits high on the western watershed of the Darling Ranges in the Ferguson Valley Western Australia. At an elevation of 230 to 280 meters and 25 km from the coast, the estate is generally two degrees or more cooler than the coastal plain. This, and a generally high rainfall in winter followed by a very dry and sunny summer, this allows the area a consistency between vintages that is possibly unrivalled in the world of wine.
The soils of the estate are all “Marri soils’, after the Marri Eucalyptus trees, these soils are prized by vignerons in WA. Chardonnay, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Viognier, Tempranillo and Grenache are all grown on the Estate and under the direction of Kim Horton, senior winemaker, harvested to produce award winning fine wines.
