The Rosenzweig family for more than 164 years have been Barossa farmers and vignerons first and foremost.
In 2010, Rosenvale Vineyards Founder, James Rosenzweig (6th generation Barossa Rosenzweig and Barossa Baron) built the Rosenvale Winery on the Rosenzweig Vineyard to work to improve the vineyard’s quality and to better understand the fruit grown and made into premium wine from across the Rosenvale Vineyard Estates. Rosenvale Vineyards, with its name adapted from their Rosenzweig family name and heritage, encompasses all four of the family-owned Estates, representing a total of 280 acres, and approximately 10% of the premium grapes harvested are used to make
wines on the Estate for the Rosenvale Vineyards and Rosenzweig brands.
