Hobart Whisky is a family-owned distillery nestled in the heart of Hobart, Tasmania. Since our establishment in 2014, our distillery has embraced a simple yet profound philosophy: to craft whiskies that we love and are eager to share. Among Tasmania’s first ten distilleries, we initially maintained a low profile, dedicating our efforts solely to the art of whisky-making.

Our whiskies are as unique as the individuals who enjoy them. It’s crucial for us that our whiskies are enjoyed just as we savour them—directly from our distillery to your glass. We meticulously hand-bottle and label each expression, ensuring every bottle is distinctly numbered, capturing the essence of its contents.

At Hobart Whisky, we pay homage to the local Tasmanian malted barley, utilising traditional fermentation techniques, gentle distillation processes, and careful maturation in select oak casks. Each small batch we produce is imbued with distinctive characteristics and a signature flavour profile that is uniquely Hobart Whisky.
