Heather Jeong is a renowned and popular TV Chef and Australia’s leading Korean cooking instructor. With her rare ability to bridge cultural barriers through her Korean and Western cooking, chef Jeong appears regularly on TV programmes including but not limited to ‘Food Safari’ and ‘Kitchen Conversations’ with her innovative recipes continuously appearing on Australia’s leading magazines and newspapers. Furthermore, she has been featured several times in Sydney Morning Herald and SBS World News and her recipes have been published in Feast magazine, Daily Telegraph.
Chef Jeong is also a cooking instructor at the Korean Cultural Centre at their highly successful cooking class programme. She is also involved in cooking demonstrations for primary schools, high schools and universities, which includes Sydney Grammar, University of Sydney.
Her passion is showcasing Korean food, Korea’s unique ingredients and cooking methods and Australia’s multicultural food heritage. Through her prolific recipe testing, writing and food demonstrations she aims to make Korean and Australian food widely accessible.
