Michael Slade from Hallifax West Yorkshire flung open the doors to Northern Git Restaurant in 2014 in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs, Thornbury.
Locals lovingly call it ‘The Git,’ where they’ve mastered the art of dishing up fantastic food and pouring perfect drinks with a wink and a no-nonsense attitude.
‘The Git’ is like walking into your own laid-back haven, where the vibe is all about honest, no-B.S. dining and sipping.
Michael will be joined on The Harvey Norman Kitchen by UK High Commissioner to Australia, Vicki Treadell where they will be cooking up storm showcasing the ‘Best of British.’
