We caught up with Australian chef Tobie Puttock for a quick chat.

Who do you most enjoy cooking for?

For sure the family but I also like cooking for strangers as I don’t work in restaurants any more and they are not as honest as my 3 y/o

Current favourite restaurant or café to go in Melbourne?

Ramblr in South Yarra. Nick the head Chef is awesome and really takes the confusion out of fusion. His food is next level in taste and technique.

Ingredient you can’t do without?

Salt, Evoo

What would your last meal be and with who?

Good question. It would be something simple like a little fresh pasta in the Italian alps with Georgia, Birdie and some close friends.

Favourite meal when you were a kid living at home?

My Mum made scotch eggs on special occasions, she always made extra and damn I loved eating those things.

Favourite family meal time memory?

Anytime the three of us are eating at the table is a memorable time.
